REAL ANGEL EXPERIENCE?
SHE SAW THE ANGELS
  I was intrigued by the letter you recently published (Dec 5th) about the reader who saw an angel in the air raid shelter. I am now 87 but at the age of five, I had a similar experience. The memory of this vivid experience has stayed with me all of my life. I was stood at the front door with my mum when the air raid started. Suddenly I saw the sky open and saw a magnificent angel descending a ladder. “Look Mum, we will all be alright,” I said “The angels are watching over us” Of course she never believed me but to this day I believe that what I saw was real.

  I believe in angels. As you may know from reading this column, I am also very interested in an Indian Holy man called Sai Baba who has often materialised food. On one occasion, he arrived unexpectedly at a house followed by many devotees. The host was distressed that there was not enough food. “Go to the boot of my car and get the food” he said to Dr John Hyslop.
Dr Hyslop did as he was told but knew that there was no food in the car. To his astonishment, two large angels…. wings and all… were standing beside the car with plates of food! He took the plates inside, his mouth agape with astonishment. “Shut your mouth Hyslop” Sai Baba admonished “They are always there. It’s just that you don’t see them”. |
